Decision-making and Skill-building

When parents and caregivers have the necessary skills and opportunities to influence decisions and take action, they can collaborate with schools in order to reduce their children’s vulnerability to bullying, inequity and exclusion.

Schools share power with parents and caregivers when they provide them with opportunities to acquire skills, to participate in decision-making and to take action related to building a safe and inclusive school culture.
